Appearance/Health:

Build: Right now, it's hard to tell, but eventually he will be of medium build. Right now the colt is very frail and tiny, physically sick.

Hair: Vaelerian's mane and tail is a very pale creamy color, like his grandsire's. He sports a crested mane, which is super short now due to his youth.

Coat: This colt is a proper color for his sex and rank, sporting the same coat color as his grandsire, the King. He certainly can't be denied as his mother's, as he sports her markings and white stripes.

Defects:

- In General: Vaelerian is a sick fawn. Born the weakest of Valen and Wendigo's triplets, he struggles. Sickly and frail, it's uncertain if he will survive, and for how long.

- Stunted growth: Vaelerian has stunted growth, due to being a triplet. He will always be the smallest of stags and, right now he's extremely tiny and frail.

- Respiratory issues: It doesn't take much to make him start huffing and puffing, as if he'd run a mile. Sometimes just nursing is a challenge.

- Infertility: This is an ailment that nobody knows of yet, and will not know of for some time...

Vael has a heart of gold. This colt is a complete sweetheart who enjoys nothing more then putting smiles on the faces of others. He's very family-oriented; his family means the world to him. Despite being sick and constantly feeling badly, he's a very positive cold. You'll never see him cry and you'll never hear him complain. He takes everything in stride and lives his life to the fullest, even if his afflictions constantly keep him from trying to do so.

History:

Vaelerian and his siblings came as quite as a surprise to their parents. They'd been expecting one fawn, but they were surprised with three! The Glade has been a little chaotic since. Vaelerian's sisters were born healthy, despite Laureline being smaller than normal and Argentina being partially blind. Vaelerian seemed to have the short end of the stick. Everyone waited with bated breath to see if the sickly colt would survive... and so far he has. As he grows older it seems that he's going to survive, though he's not strong at all.
