"Go away woman..." The hooded mercenary grunts as he slowly stares up at the angelic healer, his eyes narrowed in annoyance. A basketball sized hole was present in his stomach, dark wisps trailing from his inner organs.

"I cannot leave you here in good conscience. It would be disregarding my role as a doctor." Mercy frowned, her glowing wings humming lightly as she hovers closer.

"Death does not need your help, healer. Go away and find some other fool to "save" and lecture."

The doctor's brow furrowed at Reaper's dismissal. "I understand that you do not appreciate people looking out for you, but at least allow me to heal that injury."

To her shock, Reaper simply growled and slowly began to stand up, the gaping hole in his stomach already closing up.

"H-how..?"

"My cells are constantly deteriorating and regenerating at a rapid rate. I'm literally stuck between the limbo of dying and dead." Reaper scoffs before slowly walking pass the stunned healer, already snapping his wrists to the side and summoning another pair of Hellfire Shotguns. "Time for some payback..."

"Wait."

Death incarnate paused before turning his head to Mercy slowly.

"Is... is it painful?"

Reaper was silent before inclining his head once in a short nod, turning away as he continued to walk.

"Every second of it."
I think I might ship Mercy and Reaper for some reason. Huh.
