Description
These were rocks created to be scattered around the desert - they had to be sandy and dry stone looking things, no moss or greeny things to be seen anywhere!Done in 2005.

Lol I didn't even see these works of yours. I have to model and texture rocks for a desert RTS environment, and I searched for Desert Rocks for reference, and this was literally the first image on Google

nice job dude. I hear making rocks modeling is a real skill. I hope I don't sound like I am making fun of you but I am serous modeling and texturing rocks is a pain.

hahah, its an art all by itself i honestly believe it. no different from building a gnarly old tree with roots and branches twisting and turning all over the place - its just an art all by itself! Im glad you like these ones man!

Yup theres a normal map, very subtle tho - dont want any of that black shadow business going on. THough it could be more present in this render.!!!
