Name: Apphia "Sweet" Cider.
Age: Young Adult.
Gender: Mare.
Species: Earth pony.
Occupation: Owner of a Inn.
Special Talent/Cutie Mark: Apphia's Cutie mark is a apple cider drink that is the only "Alcoholic" beverage that she serves in her inn.

Temperament: Calm, indifferent, intelligent, independent, loyal, motherly/caring, strong willed, anger issues, mean and spiteful. (Those last two are not true but everypony seems to think she is)

Short Bio: Apphia was never close to her family, she and her mother never really got along even though she tried very hard to live up to her mothers expectations. she just always seemed to fail and never live up to her younger sisters image, forcing her to live in her little sisters shadow but Apphia cares deeply about family. So even though at times she wished she could, she could never hate her younger sister.

Apphia had a better time with her father but even there her sisters shadow covered her, her father preferred ? over Apphia and always picked ? over her.

One day Apphia came home from school to find her father gone and her mother drinking a type of cider that is near illegal do to it's addictiveness, When she asked her mother where father was Apphia's mother threw the bottle at her just barely missing her head and began to violently shout abuse at her.

For five years Apphia lived there with her now drunk of a mother, a missing father and a sister she tried so hard to protect from their mother. Only to be told by her sister that she hated her more then anything and that Apphia was just as bad as their mother and to never contact her again because as far as ? was concerned, she was an orphan. That broke Apphia even more then she already was, but she kept going. Now no longer having a reason to stay, Apphia packed up her things and left while her mother slept in their living room. Drunk, like always.

The next three years were hard and Apphia hated almost every moment of it but she does not regret the journey, for the place she ended up in is the place she always dreamed of being. She now owns her own Inn and does not let her past control her, though she will admit that she still has nightmares about her mother.

Ability / Strength: Fast and flexible Runner, Makes great food, Has some of the best drinks in her Inn.

Weakness: Tries too much to live up to the image everyone seems to give her and to keep the image of the calm and indifferent bartender she is. Takes too much responsibility, too strict with herself, Afraid of failing her loved ones and letting others down.
Has a large fear of her family finding her and trying to abuse her again.

Hobbies: Collecting flowers, Racing, Meditating, Drawing, Loves to go on walks with her mix breed fox, has a strong interest in magic, Watching the nighttime sky, old traditions and cultures.

Goals / Motivations: Wants to finally have a family of her own, to find somepony to share her heart with.

Apphia can't stand bulling and will do something about it if she see's it happening.
Even though Apphia sells sweets and the such in her Inn, she eats none of them.
She can't stand Sweet things, they leave her sick in the stomach.
Apphia suffers from sleep disorder and mild depression.
Apphia has a scar on her forehead where her parents dropped her multiple times on sharp corners. (I have the same scar on my own forehead Sometimes I wonder if my whole life is just a dream and I'm actually in a coma right now XD)
Apphia actually got her CM while she was in her teen years, not when she was still a filly. (The reason behind this is because Apphias CM has to do with being a inn owner or drink server, since she didn't get to that until she finally got the inn until she was a teen)
Apphia has her mothers temper but she has her fathers fuse, it takes a lot to get her father mad and for that Apphia is grateful for it helps her keep herself from attacking somepony like her mother did when she herself was a filly.
Apphia buys sweets from Sugercube corner to sell in her inn and buy's sheets and other such items from Rarity.(For the beds and what not)
Apphia is actually a very bubbly and bright pony, when you take the time to see through her mask's. (Yes mask's, she has a lot of them, much like how I do to.)

Fave Food: CarrotDog , Oatburger, Daffodil and Daisy Sandwich and Pie. (That is the only "Sweet" thing she'll eat.)

Fave Color: Baby Blue/Forest Green.

And here we go "What! There is not such thing as abuse like this in MLP!!!!" Don't care, this pony is HIGHLY base off of me. What does that mean? Just about everything I wrote there ^ happened to me, I am sadly still stuck with my Alcoholic of a mother but at least shes finally getting the help she needs. who would have though all it took was to call the police about a mother wielding a knife and threatening to gut her oldest daughter? Anyway like I said, Apphia here has my personality and all that. This is still a Work in progress, more stuff will ether be changed or added to this all.

Any and all advice is greatly welcome! But please keep it as something helpful like "This isn't a bad oc, but her back story could use some work" And then maybe give me some ideas? I wont say much about the Inn because that's gonna be a separate picture, So keep an eye out for that! Anyway! I hope you all like Apphia! Even if you don't that's okay! Thank you for taking a look at her!
