History

Hazel was mute until she turned seven. That's when she met one of her best friends, Pyre, and the two formed a strong bond. Hazel's confidence grew as she grew, and by the time she was twelve, she departed on her journey, two years after Pyre. She did so without Pokemon, because of a strong fear she'd always had of them- However, shortly after departing on her journey, Hazel was attacked by a wild Pokemon-- She could have been seriously hurt, were it not for a Cubone that leapt to her defense.

It scared off the Pokemon attacking Hazel, but not before being injured itself. Hazel did everything she could to patch it up, and after some awkward getting-used-to time with the recovering Cubone, Hazel decided to take him along with her on her journey.

Her journey has taken her across several regions- Where she reunited with Pyre, and met two girls on separate regions, Canna and Sky, both of whom she does her best to protect from the things trying to get at them.

After several adventures, Hazel has decided to leave most of her pokemon with her sisters on their ranch, and move to Ivywood with her friends for a fresh start, to try and get away for their problems for a while. The only Pokemon Hazel has with her is her Cubone, and she hopes to make a safe place for her friends, and help as many Pokemon as she can.

Education and Career

High school dropout. Hazel was never good with school. She works as a Daycare worker in Ivywood, despite her many, many, many failings, and has only managed to keep the position because of how genuinely kind she is to wounded Pokemon, and how skilled she is with their care.

Trivia/Info

- Hazel's original birth name was 'Hazel "Hazel Capulus" Capulus' due to her father stubbornly refusing to accept his mother's request to not name any of his children after her, since she saw it as tacky. Hazel's name was changed to 'Hazel Samuel Capulus' within a month.
- Hazel is exceptionally tired at all times, for reasons she doesn't really care about. Several years of travel have left her weary and irritable, although whenever helping a Pokemon she's more than willing to put that aside. With People, not so much.
- Hazel suffers from intense nightmares from time to time, and has a strong fear of Darkrai.
- Hazel loves coffee, and if you make strong or good enough coffee, Hazel will probably like you. Or at least be less likely to growl at you.
