Description
Started out as a study of Frank Frazetta's 'The Death Dealer', used as inspiration here with the greatest of respect to the 1973 classic original. ĀI saw it and instantly wanted to draw a different figure, a woman this time, on a Nightsabre. (It was the glowing eyes in the original that sparked this idea)
Played around a lot with the background and tried to keep everything a bit loose and painterly, really enjoyable style to try it out.Ā

Good god this is amazing! I thought it was paint on canvas at first...the colors rock, especially the contrast of light and dark with the bright clouds behind the rider.
