On second thought, forget what I said.
Now that I look at it again, the reason the hair might look so detached is because its actually supposed to be his bangs on the opposite side of his face, but the animators probably got the layers backwards which makes it look like a strange gotee thing
so, my bad, it's not a gotee XD

Actually, if you watch the animation frame by frame, it stays on his chin and sways like hair.....
so....the animators were just lazy and didn't feel like making it look attached I guess XD

Though, it is really ugly
