Description
The Set Ambusher is the support artillery vehicle of the Cartelin Empire. Armed with a pair of 3-tube missile launchers, the Set Ambusher is capable of taking out enemies and buildings from quite a distance. Despite its high firepower, the Set Ambusher has poor armor and must rely on both its fairly decent speed and ability to cloak itself to dodge enemy counterattacks. Its cloaking device is more advanced than the version installed in Anubis Scouts -- while Anubis Scouts can only cloak for a short period of time, the Set Ambusher can do so for an almost indefinite amount of time. As such, a popular tactic used by Imperial commanders is to sneak a squad of these vehicles into enemy bases while cloaked, before ordering them to open fire, allowing for a surprise attack on the enemy. These vehicles first made themselves known during the early days of the Imperial invasion of the USA when an entire division of them crossed the Mexican border into Texas and snuck into the cities before uncloaking and pulverizing the "Lone Star State".
