The reason I said girl is because of how HE looked!
He may say 'prince of darkness' and his name may spell Asriel when switched around.
BUT if people focus and go back to the beginning of the game when you see Toriel she is depicted with green glasses.
In the end the 'prince' reveals himself as a little cute white goat with green glasses.
I feel 'he' was a reflection of toriel in the dark world.
And if its true that the creaturesΒ (Darkeners) were MADE by (Lighteners) and cast aside, is it possible that they are actually a world of imaginary friends?
Maybe he was Toriels creation, thus the similarities...
Also they BOTH like baking.
