I've been meaning to draw Harmony doing some gardening for a while, and finally got the chance since the Spring mood is in the air! XD
Small fun fact! That head bandana was a gift from her mother, Fluttershy, when she started gardening at age of 8. Fluttershy has been trying to get her a new one but she noticed that Harmony takes such a good care of that precious piece of cloth, and that's the only reason she didn't get another yet.

She probably starts off with a flower box outside her window first. And most plants she worked on would be buds, not blooming until nightfall.

What program do you use to make digital art, and do you use a tablet/iPad or a computer?

I use Paint Tool SAI to make the main art, the effects are done in Photoshop CS5. And I use a computer of course, no tablet or iPad has the potency of a computer to handle the size of some drawing files.

Out of curiosity, what do your characters call each of their mothers? Β Apple Syrup could probably call Applejack "Ma" (very country-ish), and Rarity "Mother" (very formal), but I don't know what Harmony, for example, would call Rainbow Dash or Fluttershy to distinguish between them.

Windy Belle and Harmony call Fluttershy Mommy while Rainbow Dash is Mom.
Starchaser calls Twilight Sparkle Mother and Pinkie Pie is Mama.
