Description
This is an illustration inspired by the fanfic "Another Time, Another Place" [link] by StarvingLunatic, and also my entry for the contest.I wanted to draw this picture because the story was really beautiful and it touched my heart that I cried in several scenes.
I decided draw Kim and Shego reading the dairy (well, mostly Shego). XD
And Kimberly and Sheshona (Kim and Shego ancestors) looking at the beach.
And I also decided give a different shade to show the difference between the two eras.
Kim Possible and Shego belong to Disney.
Kimberly and Sheshona belong to Starving Lunatic [link] .

I loved that story and i was ready to cry when the letter was read about how she fealt like she was sufficating without her. it was one of the most emoshnal storys ive read by this writer

Yea, I cried too when I read that part of the fic. Then saw this pic and cried even more, I just can't read those sad lines at the end of the 26th chapter of Another Time, Another Place.....

Awesome When I read the part where Kimberly is sending those desperate letters to Sheshona this song popped into my head and I just had to tell you. It is "only hope " sang by mandy moore.

I have not read past chapter two or three [since that's all that was uploaded at the time!], but just looking at this makes me think it'll be a heartwrenchingly sad tale. One thing I feel I must point out, as it stands out to me, is Kim at the bottom. Her expression, the way she's slightly leaning against her love, and yet showing enormous amounts of trust whilst doing so, her expression. Also, her expression. It's so sad... almost in a "hey, this probably won't last, but I love you so let's make it count", way, possibly foreshadowing things to come?
I also like the way the two sections are jaggedly, but cleanly, separated. Almost like tearing a piece of paper unevenly.
I feel like I'm staring. At the lower half, the posture and stance of both, just, it shows love. It's very sweet. And, yeah.
One thing I can't say I like is the old timey Shego's face. I can't really explain why. Perhaps it's how long her face is, even though it shows age difference between the two. Something like that.
Anyway, this is pretty great! It's a good poster/cover for the story if it ever goes hardcover.
