Description
This was delayed for long enough, but it's finally done. So here's the concept for horns and how the magic manifests through them in my Human designs from MLP universe.I needed a Changeling for an example in this concept page and since I only have Umbra in Windyverse I had to come up with a human design in last minute. Their bio page with be up eventually, along with Periwinkle Glamour. I just need to work on their bios, the designs are already done. ;w;
On a last note! I was going to make a concept page for the Earthly Strength users, but then I realized that it would only be drawings of human ponies flexing and showing their muscly guns. So I scrapped it for other use later.
EDIT: For broken horns:
Just like the concept for Wing magic, where scars can affect the magical properties of the user that's what happens with horns. Some wounds heal (like Radiance, she had a broken horn and didn't leave a scar) and might stay as a scar that won't affect the ability to use magic (just like Windy with her scars over her wing), and others like Tempest Shadow who won't regain their horn back, would have a larger scar that would block the magic from flowing.

It's the same principle as the others, what changes is just two different horn designs and they take that shape in the magical aura.

so 1, yeah it crossed my mind that, yea i never considered what their horns in their universe would be like. most people use gems, but tattoos are a much more new, and innovative idea. and now that you mention it, 2,Β with earth ponies it would be... difficult. and it only occurred to me, thinking while reading about your idea what you could do. and that's if you're stumped on what to do for earth ponies. and this is just a idea and if you wanna use it, go for it. and if you already have something, then that's coolΒ too. just saying if you're a little stuck on what to do.
the whole tattoo thing you're doing, why not have maybe their cutie mark or some symbol appear on the back of their hands and the top surface of their feet and have it spread upward a little? like from where it starts, a center point, it branches out around their shins andΒ forearms?

That idea is actually similar to a concept kilala had for her next gen.
And I'm fine with the humanize earth ponies not having anything showing in my concept because just like in the show they don't have anything to show like the Pegasi or Unicorns.

wow. i think this is the third time i've had something similar to someone else (one artist and i had the same cutie mark, and my buddy and i had the same idea for a comic character)
and well, that makes the most sense. heck someone made a comic a long while back (wish i could find it), where twilight asks AJ if she doesn't feel special not having wings or a horn. and AJ tells her she is special in her own way by being an earth pony. so even tho nothing sticks out, it's evident from their hard work. so yea, what your doing, tho simple sounds a lot more poetic.
