Gift Exchange" We have Chickadees all year round but to me they are such a winter bird! And of course I love doing my bird dragons. Some one referred to them recently as Mimic dragons and I loved that term. I just might adopt it
6 1/4 x4 3/4 acrylic on the back of a piece of matt board. I didn't realize it wasn't a piece of illustration board till it was too late. Different texture than I'm used to but it had some advantages

It's not a particular dragon, it's a speices. So I've never named him or her. And they speices is not sexually dymorphic so no way to tell if they are male or female.

I love your bird dragons, both for their size and coloring and chubby little bird shapes. I want to try doing some small dragons of some kind, maybe even have a variety of types, but I haven't decided yet.
