Description Ok, here's my first attempt at drawing in, oh, about 1000 years! (Actually about 13 years.)

I'm pretty happy how it turned out, although I can see lots of things I could have improved on. I kinda rushed it - I was in the mood to draw but impatient and wanted to see the "finished" product.

And in my defense my ref photo [link] wasn't very good, I had to adlib some.

Criticize me, I can take it. But please, be gentle.

Size: 5.5"x8.5"
Medium: HB & 2B graphite pencils
Paper: Canson Sketch
Time: ~2 hours

EDIT: I call it "rusty" because I am, it's not the name of the horse.

Thanks! Ya know, now that I look at it, you're right. I never noticed it before and no one has ever said anything. It was my first drawing in 13 years (that's why I called it "rusty"). Not to mention I was a little impatient, I was in a big hurry to finish it. Thanks for the constructive criticism!

Hey thanks friend... I'm not really sure why I quit, I guess life got in the way. It's weird but now that I'm drawing again I actually feel more complete somehow, as if a part of me was missing. I guess maybe drawing was always a big part of who I was back then.
