I think this is gorgeous! I was wondering if you would give me permission to use it with copyright credits to you? I'm working on a monthly supernatural e-zine and this fits perfectly! If you wouldn't mind, please email me at tonya1@hotmail.com.
Thanks!!
Tonya

This is fabulous. I love your work. I know hardly anything about textures... how do you go about finding them and making them work so well?

i take pictures of whatever strikes me as a good possible texture...rocks, concrete, old walls, piles of leaves, clouds, old clothes, whatever. concrete is probably my favorite. i think the trick is just to keep a large stock of textures and try them out as i go along.

I think I had never seen textures used so beautifully as in this image.
The result is simply amazing... it just creates the picture, with its mood and all.

Words cannot describe my suprise that something so simple, even grainy, can be so deep and detailed.

thank you. i think i like to have things obscured, its why i texture 99% of my photos. in a way, what you cant see can be just as expressive as what you can.
thank you for the kind words.
