WEEK 5 CHARACTER OF THE WEEK... ROM!QUICK NOTES:
- ROM WAS FROM THE PLANET GALADOR AND WAS THE FIRST TO VOLUNTEER TO BE TRANSFORMED INTO CYBORG WARRIORS CALLED 'SPACEKNIGHTS', SO THAT HE AND 1000 OTHER VOLUNTEERS COULD DEFEND THE PLANET FOM THE INVADING ALIEN RACE KNOWN AS DIRE WRAITHS.
- ROM'S ARMOR PROVIDED HIM WITH SUPERHUMAN STRENGTH, DURABILITY AND SPACE FLIGHT. IT ALSO GAVE HIM THE ABILITY TO SUMMON THREE PIECES OF EQUIPMENT STORED IN 'SUBSPACE':
- NEUTRALIZER - BANISH DIRE WRAITHS TO LIMBO AND FIRE ENERGY BEAMS.
- ANALYZER - SEE SHAP-CHANGED DIRE WRAITHS IN THEIR TRUE FORM.
- UNIVERSAL TRANSLATOR - ALLOWED ROM TO INSTANTLY LEARN THE LANGUAGE OF ANY CREATURE.
- FIRST APPEARANCE: ROM #1 (1979)

Oh man this is Priceless Ha!! I wouldn't mess with him Ha! Well thanks to another fan with a blog for our buddy I'm hoping we can all reach out to give the guys at Marvel a heads up! Stop teasing us with character from Rom and give us The Spaceknight back so if wish to help thank you! No way! Glad to hear you liked how Rom turned out, I knew he'd be a hit with you, that's why I gave you the heads-up. Also noticed you had a sweet version of him in your gallery. Wish I still had my Rom comics thou, drawing him has made me nostalgic. If only Marvel could cut-thru all the red tape and put out a Essential trade paperback of the series!
