It's so realistic and scary, yet there's something deep and somehow sad about it.

I think Hell Girl is a pretty interesting horror anime. It is more about the evils of the human spirit than anything, but it still manages to be eerie and entertaining. Ai Enma is so quiet and mysterious.... But if you get bored of it too early, you'll miss out on the ending of the first season. There are two more seasons, but I'd say at least finish the first one before you judge the series as a whole. It can seem sort of slow sometimes, but that's just the nature of Hell girl's work. And things can easily fall into the moral grey area that makes you think what is justified and who is truly innocent, if anyone.
