yea you need a tripod
i liked seeing this pic tho as it reminded me i have a few cool pics of carlsbad caverns im gonna crop and up here in a min.

i wouldn't have had time to set up a tripod, we were on a guided school tour and such...i own a tripod....lol

when we went to carlsbad caverns you walk down and through on your own ... anyway i woulda keept it on the tripod and carried it like that set up talke pic and catch back up really fast. Unless they are strict about it or something

yea, next time i go to the caves i'll take a better setup, but i think this was pretty good for a not so great camera with no flash and no tripod, lol.
