i've been thinking about making him Scar's childhood friend and possible love interest to add to the juicy plot I have planned

Like I still remember how bitter he is, his relationship with Sarafina during his reign is out of pure spite for being "rejected" in his youth, very toxic. But while I believe him as only wrapped up in himself I do see possibility for romanticism.

that's the thing aha, I think because he ends up only caring about himself in his adult life it kinda makes it hard to see him romantically involved with someone. I feel like Bambam would be someone in his childhood/teen life who's like a big brother but something a bit more. (or the kinda relationship where it's like...the young girl at the park gets saved from being bullied by the older boys from an even older boy that she ends up clinging too and crushing on as she grows up :'})

I mean sammeeeee there was a slight chance for Saffy and him when they were little, but it quickly burnt out when he got stupidly jealous of her watching over an injured boi (nalas papa)
He also has a daughter by Sarabi in my verse, also out of pure spite and a last ditch effort since nala ran off ^^'
Ive been debating who I'd even have in Scar's life as that person, I've got plenty of options, I'll have to go through personality and see who fits honestly XD

trueee it's pretty hard to find or come up with a character that would love Scar as we all know him, let alone someone that Scar would genuinely love back xD honestly I think most people just pair him up with Zira for the sole reason they're both evil mofos and would probably just click. which is funny because in my theory they end up being best buds and she starts meeting up with him in secret with a lil baba Nuka to get away from the corrupt, controlling and practically insane lioness pride that took her in. he basically ends up being Zira's therapist/savior/hero x'D at least that's where i'm thinking about going with my theory, still working on the deetsss

Yeahhhhh I feel like the zira and scar thing is a bit overdone, but can be done right if you tinker with it. Scar took to Zira when she and her pride joined and was quick to forget about usless Mheetu and his favorite son (Ndogo) going missing, here was a lioness who'd be loyal to him, and was a good fighter (a rogue issue was starting to dwindle his hyena ranks and he neeeded backup) along with more lionesses for hunting. After Nuka the disappointment he ditched her as well, and instead of seeing how much of a dick he is Zira became more desperate for acceptance. Still working how to involve Kovu and Vitani tho

yeah the whole Scar x Zira ship just went a bit overboard with some people, like you said it should be done right instead of just "they evil. they sex. he die. she sad. she birth. she revenge" like bruh pls, make that shit interesting or unique! badass couple? hell yeah! badass couple with shit backstory? blehhh. I don't think i've ever once shipped them together but I LOVE the idea of them being close friends. but that's mainly only Zira's feelings as she hasn't had ANYONE in her life to relate too so much. (Scar's got a heart of stone at this point but he's still chill n' nice. just a big grump) personally I think Zira sees him as a role model more than anything. someone she can aspire to be because spending countless hours with a prince who promises a better life and a better future for her and her shrimp of a lil bro is probably the only hope she's ever had, especially since she's literally crawled through blood sweat and tears to get to where she is. and she's WAAAAY younger than she looks in my theory. so she was pretty young when she met Scar and was unintentionally brainwashed by him in a way lmao. he never once lied to her though and meant it when he said she'd rule by him as queen one day. they both knew from the get go that Nuka wouldn't be a suitable heir so because she's so devoted she goes off and mates with some rando who'd give her cubs that would somewhat resemble Scar.....best she could get is this old geezer who's design I need to update ---> Gloomy Morning (still working on how that all plays out)

Sameeee it just really isn't that interesting when you don't give good context and reasoning.
for me Zira was already a messed up kid with the pride she was living in and the parents she had, she met scar as a young pre-teen when a bunch of prides gathered in the pridelands to talk to Ahadi about land distribution and shit XD Scar was pretty much a young adult and very grumpy about his brother's soon to becoming king. She was absolutely smitten by him and promised that she'd stand beside him if he ever became king, and while staying at pride rock literally followed him around like a puppy XD Scar of course wasn't dumb enough to throw away potential support for the future.
