i remember the max width was 1600 when i made, so sorry cant do a proper 1920 version. you could try stretching the right side.

i don't think that growth happens in humans under any other domain. reason is our means to deal with reality. reality exists outside of our conciousness. growth is what i consider anti-death, or humans surviving well. hence, statements such as "growth beyond reason" are vexatingly contradictory. i'm not one for the spiritual, and I don't apologize for it.

The pink works very well with the grayscales. I also like the patterns behind the monk (?).
The clouds seem a bit off, though, and the gradiented background does not definitely work (at least for me). It'd have worked better a landscape in ink fading in the bakground, or something like that... Minimalistic, "zen" if you want (I too hate to use the term so loosely, but oy weh), and with solid colours. Perhaps a very light, tiny pattern could work too.

yeah i argee with about the griadnet, i think it actually looks better the other way around so it would blend into the clouds which would hae made them less imposing, but its a collaboration afterall, cant i cant have it all my own way

sure, the monk took the most time, done solely in illustrator just using alpha transparency on the layering. the clouds done quickly with a large brush in ps with a tablet and the patterns in illustrator. hope that answered your q. thanks

The various elements don't really blend together very well. The figure, the clouds, and the neon flower pattern things all just kind of sit on their own, they don't look like they should be in the same piece together. More stylistic cohesiveness would definitely help this piece.

yeah perhaps so but i think its more important to try out different things and mix things around even if it turns out less fluid. one could get far too comfortable in what their used to.
