This base took at least an entire day, so you better like it!But seriously though, if you're going to be a critic in the comments, at least be respectful, and don't repeat what 5+ other people already said. (before anyone comments, I know the feet suck already) Thank yew! ^^

Original: [link] It's from a Japanese video game "The Idolm@ster" so no, there's no way for me to contact the original artist because even if I could find a twitter/myspace/etc. page from them, I can't speak Japanese.
I take no credit of the original artwork, I'm just trying to help artists who like using bases such as myself. I'm sorry if you don't agree with my morals as far as bases go, I'm trying to use art from this site and/or reference instead of trace.

I'll admit- while they catch my eye, I haven't always been a fan of your bases. (Of course, don't listen to a bit of critique I give, I've figured out that I suck at critiquing bases. >.<)
However, among the ones I've seen out of you, this one takes the cake. It takes a lot of effort to draw so many people, and I know tracing takes some deal of effort as well. (I'm sure there's probably a case where it's even harder)
At any rate, well done!

I wouldn't say offended by constant criteria, just annoyed at most.

Here's a definition I usually use. "Pixel line-arts of bald/naked people that you draw on to create your own character. A base can include hair, extra poses, or optional clothes to get you started."

Coloring? I use Microsoft paint, so there's not much to do with coloring. The shading was referenced from shading on the original picture. You draw traditionally so I can't really help you on that, sorry

YES! usually people call me racist but I'm just patriotic to my ethnicity, especially since when we usually are on something it's something like jerry springer, or maury. And when we're animated we usually have big noses, afro's, are really loud and dumb, and we're usually dressed in orange or purple...it makes me sad. *sigh* stereotypes...

Just make her bad ass instead of weak (and, as it seems to have become a stereotype that those are the only colors we look good in, please omit the colors of Orange, Purple, or Yellow from the clothes) for some reason many people put us in those colors as it is said they are the only ones we look good in. I beg to differ, red and neon green are two of my favorite colors and I rock them whenever I get the chance. Oh, Oh, OH!!! Please make it steam punk style, that would be sweeeeeeet~

Yeah but a lot of people do that because the doller edits the base and makes the skin tone that they want to work with. It's also why a lot of base makers don't bother to shade their bases.

Well, that goes with the process of the tracing outlines, recoloring the outlines, getting red of crap I don't need, finishing touches, trying to get the reference picture, in the middle of that dealing with other thing on this account, etc.
But you can do whatever you want ^^

the trouble is is that i cant save works so i can finish them later, i must finish it in one seating. thats why i prefer to do shorter works that take less time. i dunno, maybe i could use this for genderbent hetalia in the future when im off school, but right now just thinking about all of those people and how theyll take to colour is menecing. ill think about it, but i cant promise anything, ok?
