You know, in a sort of sanity-shattering way, that is really damn pretty. Cthulhu there almost looks like he's a calligram in some sort of unfathomably ancient and alien script. +fav

The world can never have too much Lovecraftian art. Never.

I like this depiction of the Necronomicon. The stylized Cthulhu, to me at least, seems to really emphasize that the Necronomicon is not about concrete things that we can perceive and counter, but monstrously abstract beings that are horridly alien.

That and, well, it just looks cool. Definitely more like the writings of a mad Arab about the universe's dark secrets than the stuff other people try to pass off as the Necronomicon.

While browsing your gallery and finding this piece, man it has to became another favorite. And those are not cheap when suiting my personal tastes!

Great job.

Cheers.

Excellent stylized rendering of Cthulhu; Great concept...could use some more glyphs etc. to make it appear more like an actual codex...I'd imagine the Necronomicon's symbols closer to Assyrian/Babylonian Cuniform as opposed to Goetic seals...but the laters the norm I guess...
