For my Material Girl readership: I apologize for not keeping up with my self-imposed schedule. I do plan to continue to update when I have time, but I'm being bogged down with my studio courses.Which this is part of.
The class is called "Word and Image to Book", but it's essentially a collaborative independent study.
The project is a graphic novel in which a wood spirit/faerie/etc. wanders into a victorian town. This is the wood spirit which I'm calling 'Cricket' for now. It has no gender and acts mostly like a wolf, but can switch between quad/bipedal.
The next comic is underway and should be up this Saturday, and continue from there. However, if what happened last weekend happens again I'll be sure to update SOMETHING as a quasi Dead Artist post and inform.

I understand how it is, being bogged down by schoolwork. I haven't been able to write anything I actually wanted to in far too long because I have to write things or read copiously for classes.
This looks really good, though. I love the section about emotion. I especially love the picture on the top right. The upset look of surprise on the wolf-boy's face is just priceless.
