Darkness...It's in every heart.
It keeps love and death apart.
The light pushes hard
and so does the dark.
When they push to hard your heart will burst.
So be sure to belive the light first.
Run from it.
Hide from it.
Whatever you do don't ever go all the way through.

The two sides have their ups and downs. Darkness is passive and light is aggressive. Yet they are two halves of one whole.

I have never seen such a terrible repersention of darkness. It is to light has yin is to yang. They aren't complete opposites, just tecnical opposites. Light may let us see, but light also is what burns us, gives us cancer, and many other terrible things. Darkness is no different, but also has it's own pros. Do you understand what I mean?

I'm making a Gothic art piece as a response to some rather saddening stuff i'v found on DA, and this poem is pretty much what I need.

This reminds me of a saying about how darkness can exist without light and vice versa.
