Edit: Okay, so I made some adjustments to the overall look and I finally added a background!
I also threw away the "SAMPLE" signs, because it took away from what I was trying to get feedback on. How can you critique what you can't see?
This is an tiny example of what I'll be selling at conventions this year.
As well as 8.5x11" prints, I'm making bookmarks of certain characters from various games/animes.
This is the layout I'm considering for the bookmarks and I'd really appreciate some feedback.
Ai-kon artists, designers, lend me your thoughts!
P.S. I'm looking for CONSTRUCTIVE criticism. This isn't here just to look pretty, so if you don't have advice for me then please don't comment on this piece.
Please don't just write "So pretty!" or "I love this!!" I need real feedback!
Tell me what you like about it, tell me what I can improve on.

Also, I've only seen the subbed version of Chrno Crusade, so I have never actually heard Greg's voice before.
I was also at my art table all weekend (when I wasn't in the dealers' room or at the hotel) so I didn't get a chance to go to any of the guests' panels. I did see both of them in the dealers' room on Friday which was exciting, but they looked busy so I didn't talk to them :/

Yeah! Greg was also the voice actor for Negi on Negima. IT was funny cuz on Friday I had to go, right before autographs. So I gave my booklet to my friend for her to get it signed for me.
And the next day I got to Meet Greg myself. and he says to me.
"Oh, So who can I make this out for?" And I said
"Kyle-lee" He then paused and just stared at me and said.
"HEY! Your that girl I never got to meet! I LOVE the way you spell you name" and I just kinda paused and looked at him oddly. lol it was great...
So how much was renting a booth for art?
I heard it was about 20 or so dollars.

Tables were 20 for half, 40 for a whole one. I split with Fongie, so it was 20 each.

I am considering if maybe I get better to set up a table of little cute craft things, like whomever was selling those little charms. I think that person was next to you? or was it you?
But yeah, unless I heavily improve on my art I'm really in no position to sell anything yet.

Next year I'm hoping for Scott McNeil and Kirby Morrow. That'd be a dream come true for me, no jokes.
The prices for art tables seem BRUTAL compared to what they were in previous years. In 2003, A weekend pass was $10 and full art tables were $15 with a free weekend pass included. WEEKEND PASS INCLUDED!
So that year I spent $15 just to be at the con and have my table, whereas this year, I paid $50 total for a weekend pass + HALF a table. Prices are getting insane, but with all the new things they're getting every year, I guess I kind of understand. I don't even know how much it must cost to get voice actors.
The charms were made by Fongie, so yes our table was selling them. Even I bought a cell-phone strap and a pair of onigiri earrings! They're just too cute <3

OMG! no way! but then again Winnipeg is a pretty unknown city you know what I mean? I mean like I bet half the anime stores opened up here because of ai-con and discoverd all of us anime fans.

Scott McNeil (in my opinion) is probably one of the most well-known voice actors in the biz. He's done Duo from Gundam Wing, Kouga from Inuyasha, Rattrap from Beasties, as well as tons and tons of other voices, including a lot of extras, like random villagers from Inuyasha and things like that.
Kirby Morrow does Van from Vision of Escaflowne, Miroku from Inuyasha, Trowa from Gundam Wing and a bunch of others, but I can't remember them all right now.
They're also both extremely attractive and I can't even imagine how excited I would be to meet either one of them. Both at the same convention would just be complete overload, but they've appeared together many times at different cons. I think Greg Ayres appeared with both of them at a convention, I don't remember which one.
I hope Naruto is popular again next year. Seeing it all over every convention, it's become almost like an old friend and it makes me happy everytime I see Naruto Cosplay at a convention.

I think the design is nice. The background is light so it doesnt take away from Aerith much. Only thing i would change is maybe making the background a different color other than pink (like light blue or green) as it blends in a lot with her and shes not like KAPOW IM HEREEE.

Well, I'm trying to go with a colour for each character and Aerith seemed to suit pink. I tried to fade the background so it wouldn't intrude too much >_>

i think the character name is a nice touch. you should definitly keep it.

the only advice I could give falls into the "personal style" and/or "personal preference" category... which generally doesn't really count as a critique. But Aerith has gold/yellow wrist cuffs, larger longer curls, and her bangs are uneven (the left bang is taller and has more hair in it than the right bang which sticks straight out to the side).
But nit picking like this is stupid since this is fanart and it's about your personal style... which I like ^^!

I was referencing every image I could find, except for the original drawings of Aerith from FFVII.
I fixed the wrist cuffs, but I'll stick with her current hair since it turned out so well

Well, as for the name. I like it. Because I don't play too many games, the name is helpful ^^ (the full name isn't necessary) You could play with the typography if you wanted. For each character choose a font that represents them. With Aerith.. maybe a scriptina font? But I suppose to keep the style consistent, you can keep it the same with all your bookmarks. (up to you 
What would look really cool is have her within the border at the bottom, and have like her hair bow, shoulder out of the border. So she doesn't look too confined in that box, and adds dynamic to the pic? XD

Thanks so much for your feedback, I've improved it quite a bit and added a script font. It looks a lot better than the blocky font did
