i shot some eagle shots this morning..as we are still between seasons here..and I was amazed they let me get within 5 ft of them..All work contained in my gallery is Copyright Protected Β©Heather Rivet. you have some really great bird shots there - love the diving eagle and that woodpecker on the side of the tree. What is Zenfolio? Is it some sort of website?

yes KKart steared me there..and closer to heaven is on their ..it is a portfolio site..sortof a website for us dummies that don't know how to build one..and I get control over if i want comments etc..and you can sell from there also..but i use it for my portfolio so i can load shots their for stock or ones that i don;'t post here

I actually like #1 the best, but you have in in b&w and I would prefer color. As far as the rest of the birds, I like #10 and #15 as well. I have to say you have done some great bird shots. What lens are you using?

I use a 55 mm - 200 mm nikon lens..just got it with the D90..but i keep it on the D70 wish i had a switched..and yes the no..one is going to be up in color after the little one goes back to school tommorow..the lens is great paid like 169 for it..at Henrys here in Canada..I have been playing with the [link] winter and that is what i got so far..a few more to post.

I have a Sigma 70-300mm, which is an okay lens. I haven't tested it much on the new 5DII so I'll have to see if it's very good with birds when it gets a little nicer here.
