Description Alright. So I've seen many attempts of people making the Corvo mask from Dishonored and they are very impressive! But I do tend to see a couple of mistakes being made to throw off the mask of being a true replica. This can be seen with people using wire to string along the mouth, but if you look at the 3D view of the mask on the Dishonored website, when the mask is pulled apart, the jaw is dislocated and able to move about with hinges/screws on either side like a real jaw and is also attached by a metallic string like a more flexible guitar string.

Anyways.. this is the outline I have drawn up for myself based on dissecting pictures off the internet and using the 3D reference provided by Bethesda. Best part is for the jaw going to be using real cogs and for the eyes , real metalwork and glass lenses. The base will be made out of plastic and the "wire in the mouth will be made of a metallic/gold/maybe even elastic string. I'm hoping it'll look amazing when done!

Pictures of progress will be posted asap on here and a special shoutout/thanks to: Silantre [link]
for his help and inspiration!

I am also interested in making Corvo's mask, though I do not know where to get plastic and molding stuff, I do however have heaps of scrap metal lying about since I make Steam-punk goggles in my spare time, so maybe I can make the base out of some metal and paint/brush/airbrush the textures on, but!
I need Help.
I don't know the dimensions, size, etc. of the base itself. Can someone help me?
This design of your Lililiana and Heavyn are the closest resemblances to Corvo's Mask other than what Technically Magic Effects did, and their materials and such were over 2,500$

You've missed one string in the right eye socket. It's really tricky to make as all the metal pieces are all unique design in the jaw and each side of the skull. The flash interactive web page of the skull is soo usefull. Good luck! I wish I could craft the metal pieces, aluminium wire and mesh instead for me. I've made some resin lenses for the eyes, but it still looks shoddy.

I'm really looking forward to seeing your work as it sounds like you will make it authentic!

Good luck!

Excellent! I've finished my first attempt of this mask and I am now starting on the better version of it, which will be more durable and authentic looking. How far have you gotten now?
