I've been doing Jap homework for the past 4 hours or something and felt like a needed a break, so I coloured a draft of mine: [link]It was kinda fun, but really hard since I'm using Macromedia Flash MX which can't really blend or soften colours. Also, the colour scheme compared to the original is way off, but that's on purpose (I kinda like his hair this way).
I might just colour the entire drawing one day, after all. I'll probably do something about the nose though; it kinda looks like he has been wiping his nose a lot >_>

Nice coloring. I dont think I'd be able to do something like this on macromedia flash. I'd get very impatient/confused D:

And I got pretty impatient too, that's why I didn't do the whole thing ^^'
His hair alone is like 4 layers and 2 masks, just to get that effect, since blending colours didn't become available until Macromedia Flash 8 ;>_>

It came out really well. I like how his hair is a few diffrent colors. I need to learn how to do that for when I draw one of my OC's. The tips of his hair are blue. :]

It comes with experience, I guess. I'm been using Flash MX on and off for a few years, though mostly to create programs and stuff, e.g. this: [link] . I never thought of using it for actual art (drawings) before, so everything is a bit new to me too XP
But you should def try it out for your OC. Just write me on messenger or send me a note here if you want advice with something ;3 (and in my head I just went "just in case you need help with flashing" XD )
