Just curious ... are you creating these in Zbrush and then the miniature company is using a 3D printer to generate the actual model? Or is somebody doing a real life sculpture of this out there somewhere?

I make them in Zbrush, then they get sent to the 3D printer. Β The 3d print becomes the master from which molds get done and from the mold come the final production pieces.

Brilliant.Β I have painted many a miniature in my day and attempted (and failed) to sculpt a few.Β This seems like a much better way to create miniatures.Β I could change the whole industry, I think.

Yes! The GGH-F model is great and yours really does the character justice. And I can't believe I figured that out. I was just randomly looking at GGH-F's art card and thought back to this sculpt. Very sneaky....
