Now that the main cast for the film project has been established, Foxy Fred and Shiruba discuss about the preparations for the project. However, Shiruba does have questions considering the names of the characters.

Shiruba: I was wondering where you get the ideas for the names of the characters, Bruce Kent, Pearl Pretty and Dastardly Dan?

FF: To start with the hero, Bruce Kent, the name was taken from comic book characters Bruce Wayne and Clark Kent. And we all know who they are.

Shiruba: I see. What about Pearl Pretty?

FF: That name was easy. It was taken from the names of two silent film actresses who played damsels in distress, Pearl White and Arlene Pretty.

Shiruba: Maybe in a future product we could have a character named Arlene White.

FF: Not a bad idea. As for Dastardly Dan, would you believe that's a character from a board game?

Shiruba: You're kidding me.

FF: Yes, really. The board game was called "The Magnificent Race" which features a villain named Dastardly Dan. However, in our film, his full name will be Dastardly Dan Fate.

Shiruba: Fate?

FF: Yes, after Professor Fate, who was the villain in the movie, "The Great Race".

Shiruba: You certainly have the bases covered here, Fred.
