While walking through the halls of the Alphabase, Solanna explains to Fox and Krystal about her journey to Earth and her being chased by slave traders.

Krystal: It sounds like quite an ordeal. What would have happened if you were caught?

Solanna: I'm afraid because I'm half Lombax, I would probably be slave labor at some factory. I know how these slave traders are. They don't care about the welfare of the poor souls. All they care about is the cash. I was also afraid that I would be used for other purposes other than factories.

Fox: That we are sure of. Not too long ago we took in a former slave who is now a member of one of our Divisions. The stories she told us were certainly depressing to hear.

Solanna: How is she now?

Krystal: She's never happier. And the same will go for you. You do fly that craft of yours rather well.

Solanna: The Starfire? It's an old craft from my world that I was able to upgrade so I can make my escape. Otherwise, I would be stuck there worried about my fate.

Fox: Sounds as if you have the makings of being in the Engineering Crew. We currenty have two members in our crew and would get visits from two others to form a great team.

Krystal: I think all of them are here, Fox. Would you like to meet them, Solanna?

Solanna: I would love to. It'll be good to be part of a team.

Fox: Then come with us. We'll take you to them.
