Fox McCloud approaches the rock with Hexxus imbedded with it. Cautiously he takes hold of the hilt.Fox: I feel like King Arthur doing this. And I recall the story, a gentle touch is what it took to remove Ex Caliber. Let's see if it applies here.
Fox then gently pulls on the sword and feels the power within it. Then with great ease, he pulls Hexxus out of the rock. The power of Hexxus can be seen by everyone in the cave before settling down.
Krystal: Wow! Handling that blade is going to require a lot of responsibility.
Black Cat: As of now, Fox McCloud, only you can control the power of Hexxus. Others can wield the sword but will not be able to release the powers within it. However, you can transfer the power to sources such as your wife's staff when it is needed. But it would only work if you are wielding Hexxus. But once you have those powers purified, then Hexxus' powers can be used for peaceful purposes to its user's commands. Guard the power of Hexxus well, Fox McCloud.
Fox: I intend to. This is power that's not to be trifled with.
Krystal: Then let's take it back to the Alphabase and see what can be done about purifying its power.
Black Cat: I wouldn't worry about any unscrupulous characters trying to steal it. The power of Hexxus can only be given to another.
Krystal: Thank you for that information. (Turns to Pranx and Trixie.) Come, our new friends. Prepare to have a new life with Starfox Earth.
Soon The McClouds and the Scampixies leave the cave together with Fox holding Hexxus. Black Cat watches as they leave.
