This pair are in a very sad state of mind for good reason. And it has nothing to do with a certain blue hedgehog that they both have feelings for. Both of them have loyal fans but unfortunately the fans have been in confrontation about one or the other with each other and even have submitted artwork in which they are at each other's throats. But the truth of the matter is that these two have never engaged in any type of confrontation with each other. So they find themselves sadly thinking, "Why The Hate?"Models by

I find both characters interesting as well. But unfortunately the fan base has become a civil war because they think only one should be with Sonic. One dominates the comic books and was on TV at a time. While the other dominates the video games and the current TV audience. What is wrong with having the best of both worlds?

Very nice, and I agree. I'm sick of all the Amy fans going, "I Sally, she's a Mary-su, and she should diez!" or Sally fans going, "I hate Amy, she's an annoying creepy stalker, and should diez!"
Honestly, I always liked both Sally & Amy regardless of their character flaws, (in fact I kinda like flawed characters) and they have their strengths as well the haters often overlook or try to ignore, just to justify their hatred.
Seems like when it comes to Sonic characters, for some reason usually the female characters that get the most hatred in the fanbase. Doesn't that seem a li'l sexist to you guys? And on top of that, it's mostly girls who are hating on them. Kinda weird to think girls can be "sexist" against female fictional animal characters, eh? Maybe I'm overthinking things, but that's the way it seems.

why do people act like Sally and Amy are enemies and try to kill each other??? they never ever ever did that they are good friends its just like once or twice Amy got jealous of Sally but thats not hating and killing each other they never did that I don't get what goes on inside peoples heads!
