This pair are in a very sad state of mind for good reason. And it has nothing to do with a certain blue hedgehog that they both have feelings for. Both of them have loyal fans but unfortunately the fans have been in confrontation about one or the other with each other and even have submitted artwork in which they are at each other's throats. But the truth of the matter is that these two have never engaged in any type of confrontation with each other. So they find themselves sadly thinking, "Why The Hate?"Models by

I like both Sally and Amy and I like both Sonamy and Sonally.
But I prefer Sonamy/Amy since Amy was the first Sonic character I was introduced to and Sonamy was the first Sonic couple I was introduced to.

The hate that these two receive is atrocious in my view. I like both girls equally, and abhor hate art that is depicted of one against the other. I view Sally and Amy as friends.

They were meant to be friends. All the hate artΒ is fan based and never condoned by Sega nor Archie Comics. It should be looked upon as the same type of triangle similar to Archie with Betty and Veronica.

Actually this Sally vs. Amy feud has become a Civil War among the Fandom for quite some timeΒ and there are some who turn it into an obsession.

I have them as friends who understand the situation and all they can do is wait until something becomes official and canon. Amy has dominated the TV Series and a number of the games but Sally has dominated the comic books.

In my view they're friends as close as sisters, with Amy looking up to Sally in the way Cream looks up to Amy.

I'm not the one who made the models but I'm sure it took quite a bit of practice to create them. As far making the scene goes, once I have the models it's if I was playing with action figures. It's really not that hard once you get the hang of it. This scene would take about 20-25 minutes to make.

Well, I'm not exactly Archie comic reader (because there's no Archie comic here, or SatAM. Or... I dunno) but I've seen some of the comic stripes in youtube. I think I'm perfectly alright with Sally. She isn't some Mary-Sue or anything. And I'm also perfectly alright with Amy (especially since I'm SonAmy person. I'm not extremist however). She's not really an annoying stalker and in one of Sonic X episode, it is shown that Sonic DOES have a feeling toward her
As for the art, great work, although the shading is kinda invisible and Sally's model's kinda jagged compared to Amy's smooth surface. Sally's fur is also better if it's smooth color (I reckon this critic goes to )

The case in point is the way the fandom would get into constant arguing over this. There are even hate groups on this. Come on, these are fictional characters, not real people.
