A motorcycle stunt rider, Johnny Blaze made a pact with Mephisto in an attempt to save his ill father's life. However, he was tricked, and found himself transformed into a skeletal being with a flaming skull known as the "Ghost Rider". With his flaming motorcycle and chain in hand, he rides the land looking to punish the wicked powered by his new superhuman abilities.
