So I FINALLY beat that damn Department Store Spook in Earthbound and I could have leapt for joy when I got to Moonside, IT'S SO TERRIFYING BUT AWESOME. (Terrifying mostly because of the enemies INSIDE the buildings.) Earthbound is fantastic, everyone should play it. RIGHT NOW.I wanted to stick Jeff in here as well as Ness, but he cluttered up the composition. Sorry Jeff. ):

I stumbled upon this as I was searching for pictures of Moonside to reference since I was drawing a picture of Moonside too. (I have never played the game... but I loved the videos of Moonside, I couldnΒ΄t resist to draw it).
Now that I look at my almost finished pic, it looks an awful lot like yours.

I just played through this part of the game~~ God, did all those lights and the teleporting make me dizzy...Earthbound is just a wonderful little blob of WTF and I wouldn't have it any other way! XD
I love the perspective on this, and the colors are really reminiscent of being in Moonside in the game. Nice job~

I'VE BEEN MEANING TO TELL YOU that I finally got an SNES emulator and downloaded Earthbound BD. AND NOW I'M AT MOONSIDE ALREADY (I've been playing like mad) and remembered this picture which I always thought was cool though I didn't know where it was from, and now I do and this is freaking amazing ;;. I think I commented on it at SROA last year...but...I'll recomment now! I LOVE how you drew the neon lights and stuff. the perspective rules too. too freaking amazing.

AAAH, I am always so happy to see more people playing this game, it's so great. ;; I haven't played it in a long time and I'd been contemplating replaying it soon so YOU KINDA INSPIRED ME TO ACTUALLY DO IT, hahaha XD

Have you seen this youtube video? [link] XD live-action Earthbound ... it's great XDDD. The 2nd and 3rd chapters are even better...especially when he calls his dad ("Can I pleeeeease just save?" "Your dear old dad was thinking of hitting the hay..." XDDD), and when the police attack. Oh man...
And yesss I'm so frightened but having so much fun XD. And I can't wait to get further! And you know what's lame? I didn't realize until "Fourside" that the towns were all numbered by name |D;;;;; -STUPID XD- ONEtt, TWOson, THREEd.....man I felt like a moron XDDD.

YOU ALREADY KNOW WHAT I THINK ABOUT THIS GAME.
I really like the way you got the trippy effect of Moonside, but also gave it a sort of, jagged look, along with your own Flash style.
Earthbound is so much happier in comparison to Mother, with it's crazy, opposite day courses and modern art that you can fight.
