hehe, you really did a good job of actually making sceptile look cute... its expecailly hard to make a pokemon look cute or appealing when, as you said, you dont care for the pokemon in question
but i like the look on his face
and as ussual youre shading... something about it seems simplistic, yet very attentive to detail :}

Haha, a lot of the Pokemon considered "ugly" by most, I love. XD But these guys are just...unappealing to me, so I tried to make them a little more aesthetically pleasing.
