Before I developed a taste for "realism" portraits, this was my usual drawing style.I decided to draw this when bed-ridden from illness - my exact thoughts were: "Hmm, how about if I draw Yukke as a samurai, in my anime lineart style?"
As you can see, it didn't turn out as lineart [blah blah blah
]. I know this drawing seems 'incomplete', but I have so many more yet to do."Fukuno Yusuke" (i.e. the kanji) is his real name. [Isn't he perrdy?!

Well, it's because I'm now able to add some improved shading skills than before.
You must've used up so much energy by squee-ing

There's a difference: in this kind of drawing, the outlines are more defined (like manga/anime characters). Oh I dunno! I just miss drawing like this.

yeah since last year(but this year is my first year using expensive tools like graphite and such)!! but i always sucked at it!!! i never had any artclasses( and when i did i was already teaching myself so i didnt learn anything important ) . my family wasnt surportive nor was there any artist that was living so i was pretty much alone artwise!! if you look at my gallery . like my first page you can tell that i didnt know what i was doing!! i didnt use any graphite or know what it was . i didnt have any expensive sketchbooks or shop in any artstores !! i just had a a #2 pencil and some paper and that was my supplises for the day !!lol!!
i always try drawing in a manga type style but i wasnt good at it!! thats why i want to practice!! maybe i will show you but it wont be uploaded on here!!
