Far more interesting, and much bigger than Osaka Himeji isnt set up like a modern museum inside, its rebuilt just as it was 600 years ago.

Cherry Blossoms in Japan.
I hope they cheer people up and that things go better.
We are still waiting for the blossoms here
but despite all the troubles of the world
they always manage to arrive eventually
This picture conveys that new hope and the renewal of spring.
I know that Japan is due to have renewal too And this picture conveys that to me as well.

Good shot. Image is slightly over-exposed, eliminating almost all rich black. This seems to work well for the sakura tree, but fails to give much depth to the building. As a composition it's a common practice to keep the foreground darker than the background to help lead the eye through the photo. A slightly less overcast day would take care of this in a snap. Your depth of field is good to highlight both foreground and background. If shooting architecture is your interest you might consider a tilt-shift lens to help straighten up the edges of the building. Also a polarizing filter (don't go cheap or your blue skies will go green) could really help to keep the sky from blowing out. If it were me, I think I may have tried an HDR shot of this by adjusting my shutter speed (not aperture) one stop over and one stop under the desired exposure. That might have helped capture the real colors of the place a bit better (which I understand is incredibly difficult in Japan - when it's cloudy 85% of the time around this time of year) Otherwise, it's a good shot and I'm sorry I missed this view of Himeji when I was there a couple of years ago. Hope that's kinda helpful.
