today was E3 and nintendo showed us a short video of the new Legend of zelda for the wii U. I was realy surpiced by seeing this its totaly differnt I dont know what to say. there wasn't shown anything of the story but I saw a few things i find interesting and wanted it to share with you guys.I cant wait to see more of it.

Link is not wearing a hoody, it's a travelers cloak. Think of it as a Medieval coat. They wear them in the Lord of the Rings movies.

Actually, Link could be right-handed- I once took an archery class and the way this Link holds the bow and arrow matches the way I had to hold mine. I am both right-handed and right eye dominant, but I can't remember whether you hold the bow based on your dominant hand or eye. Who knows- maybe they made Link ambidextrous this time

Finally someone else thought it was odd that he had Gerudo styled gauntlets!
Also, you can see a sword in its sheath the moment he jumps off Epona. It's underneath his arrows.

Actually, he had a sword in the trailer, it's on the saddle. The scabbard is brown so it's not really visible.

Why do I have a feeling its going to take place after skyward sword, why? Because link and the monster seems to have technology that is not seen until TP, and TP mention this technology is from the sky people which is skyward, also the people look like life there is still slow.
It could mean its also can be either after TP or Wind waker, if it is after wind waker it would make sense on why life seems slow on new lands but not so much about the technology, like TP can explain the technology but not so much on life being slow.
But that's only my thoughts, I can't wait to see more!

I think that its before skyward sword, in the past with the lanayru mines robots, because that robot is the same style. and when you see the past you see that its pretty big and green just like the trailer. before hylia send the land into the sky.
or after spirit tracks (new land) but I hope not.

Yeah I can see it after spirit tracks, but not so much before skyward sword, though that would be cool I don't think it can be because the link the showed may not be the one from the short story the put out with the book, that story took place before skyward.
And I meant by being slow is the people haven't really evolve too much, Link may of have some of that tech but from the look of it, it looks life is just started.

I didn't mean the one of the shirt story, but in between. But I only basic it on the looks of the robots, the blue lights and green. (dessert in skywards sword is pretty big and it would all have been grass n the past.
