Arabian horse, haven't done the final cropping IRL so the size is still a bit of a question, Canson velour paper, Pastel Pencils, Reference photo by AinslieG at PMP (paintmyphoto.ning.com/)

Some of you might remember that I HATE velour. Well, not this time. I got this black Canson velour (a bit sturdier velour than what I've had before) when ordering black Mi-Teintes (they had run out of Mi-Teintes, so they replaced the one black paper I ordered with three of this velour - pretty good deal all in all). This drawing features only pastel pencils and it was a good match with the paper. I didn't do a lot of smudging with tortillons OR my fingers, and just the pure pastel not worked too much looked pretty ok with the paper.

I almost had camera disaster with this one too... My camera charger has disappeared somewhere during Xmas... But then I found out that I could charge my camera with our tablet charger... It was interesting experience, it charged the camera much more quickly than the charger I'm supposed to use... I hope this doesn't mean anything bad to my batteries ! But I just needed to take the risk, I'm a bit crazy!
