Description
I'm being quite productive this quarter so possibly expect more
uploads soon.

I have advanced conceptual illustration this quarter and out first
assignment was to creature 4 characters (a before and after image of the
main character too) using just descriptions of their backstory, names and
the genre. This was based on horror fantasy and the theme of autumn for
the main character. From left to right:

Enduin: A cursed elvin priestess who inhherits the dying god equinox's
powers after her temple is ravaged, defiled and burnt down.

Nox: Advisor to the king of autumn who betrays the king and becomes
obsessed with stealing different gods powers and destroying their temples
in the process. My version of him depicts a man who eventually gains
mutations over time from absorbing and using each god's powers for his
own gain.

The Dealer: he is suppose to be the character who shows up from
time to time to sell or buy items from the main character. I decided to design
him around a combination of a toad, salamander and frill-neck lizard. I am
still trying to figure out how he caries his items but that's for revisions later.

Equinox: the goddess of the temple of autumn where Enduin resides in her
duties. She is the first god to fall and gives the last of her power to Enduin,
cursing her in the process. I wanted to keep with a sort of monster-esque
theme since this is horror fantasy so I definitely did not want her to look
humanish at all. Also I love masks and it looked really cool as an actual
head piece so that's what she got.

I also learned a new way of painting from this thanks to
since she's just the coolest teacher ever. So i'll probably be playing around
in this style for a bit, we'll see. c:
