What with the upcoming How to Train Your Dragon 2, I felt it was high time I did some HtTYD fanart. I'm aware that Toothless is flying on his own. I decided to have him using the tail Hiccup gave him in Gift of the Nightfury. I know he destroyed it in-story, but I have the feeling Hiccup made him a new one. Possibly after promising that Toothless would only wear it when they weren't flying together.

Something was going on with my scanner when I scanned this in. Dunno what happened, but even though it was supposed to be a color scan, it ended up black and white, and it totally borked up the contrast in some places. Once I get my Cintiq *squee*, I'm going to color it in using Photoshop. Then I can fix the hind legs and the large scales on his forehead and -arms.
