FINALLY got around to designing some rogues for Tkani . Rogues are people that do not yet belong to a tkani community and in this setting are designed to be bought (or won >w>) To be intergrated into a Tkani owner's world and story. I was originally going to just sell the first two (last one is mine i love her too much), but i figured I would have more fun desinging a Draw to Adopt competition!

Anywho straight to the rules and how to enter to win one of these cuties:

-Join Tkani ! Tkani is a cooperative lore and worldbuilding project. It's meant to be a group where we can share our ideas and art.
-Read up on Tkani lore and info. A big part of Tkani is their lore and stories, a lot of this probably wont make much sense without understanding the world of Tkani. You can find most of the info you need in the Tkani 101 journal however reading through all of the Fieldguides is HIGHLY reccomended.
-Start drawing and/or writing:

How to enter:

-Draw the Tkani of your choosing (#1 or #2). Draw them interacting with other Tkani or their environment. Or perhaps showing off their magic skills. What is their personality, what do they love to do? Show me!!
-Write up a short (or long) introduction to your interpretation of the character. What kind of magic do they have, what is their backstory, why did they become a Mage or where they born into it? Lore! Lore! Lore!
-oh! and share this post in either a journal or status. that'll help me a lot ^^

DOs:
-you CAN decide what magic powers they have and how strong they are. (should be related to their god, however if you can justify it/make it work then you can pick mostly anything)
-you CAN change some elements of their design. (gender, clothing details, colour palette, make up, eye colour etc.)
-you CAN diverge from the rough/example descriptions I give them.
-you CAN add or describe them in your own Tkani communities and/or stories. They don't have to stay rogues. (They just are in the case of the adoptable part)

DONT's
-you CANNOT change what type of Mage they are/the god they practice under. Some of these characters have mutations associated with that Mage-hood. Also they HAVE to stay mages, again due to mutations.
-preferably not change their mutations too much, unless you can justify it (explain how its associated with that god/magic)
-you CANNOT change their species. They're Tkani dude that's the whole point.

WHAT TO DO AFTER YOU'VE MADE YOUR ENTRY:
-When you're ready to submit, reply to the comment relating to the mage you're entering for with a link to the post. Also submit your artwork/text to the 'art' folder in the group.
-please write in the description whether or not it's ok if the winner can use your art as gift art or not
- then wait! after the due date I will go through an pick the winners for each Mage! I will make a journal and tag the winners.

WHAT YOU'RE GOING TO BE JUDGED ON:
-creativity
-cool art. I'll be looking for dynamic poses or narrative imagery, well done rendering and skills is somewhat important, but the story telling and creativity is what I'm really gonna be keeping my eyes peeled for.
-awesome and in depth story. I want to see passion for this character and an engaging telling of who they are and how they exist in their world.

okay onto the actual characters up for offer! Again you can enter the competition for either Mage #1 or Mage #2. I will put in small descriptions and starting points for each character. And an example full description for the 3rd Mage, the one I'm keeping. To give you an idea of what you can do with your entries.

MAGE #1 - Eggmcbaconboy

This Mage is a Mage of Jasimu. The god of Seasons (and weather and plants and nature etc.) This Mage can be associated with nature or weather, and likely has the ability to control those to some extent. Her body and horns are scattered with gems and crystals, a reflection of the gems Jasimu is known to bear. Her horns are also al ittle longer than they used to be when she was a kid. To me, in this image, she seems to be pretty calm and collected. Maybe she lives in a big city and cultivates plants in her apartment and teaches Yoga in the morning. Or she could be cool and apathetic and live deep in the mountains. Her personality and world are up to you!

MAGE #2 - Nocturnal-Visibility

This Mage practices under the god of Mbhido. The god of Magic (and mysteries and darkness and libraries). This mage can be associated with knowledge (or the lack thereof), magical ability or enhanced intuition. He seems extremely fashionable and modern, howevers gives me an air of ancient Monks who live simple lives. Perhaps he lives in a desert society, one dedicated to learning the true nature of the stars, Or another city dweller, he could be a life trainer or librarian. Again, up to you.

MAGE #3 - example mage

THIS mage is a mage of Gebayack. Gebayack is the God of misfortune, not a popular choice for mages, but they aren't unheard of. Gebayack is assosciated with unluck, but also bad weather, feelings of melancholy, frustration or embarrasment and abandoned animals and children. Also Cats. This Mage loves anything and everything to do with cats (and stripes and the colour pink). It was actually that that made her decide to choose Gebayack to practice to. Gebayack is depicted with the bottom half of a black cat with two tails. This mage wears cat ears and bells as dedication to this fact (and also because they're cute). One thing people notice first is her tail, it's a strange sight to see, the mutation of having two tails is one of the signature mutations of a Gebayack Mage. However her tail has only split along the base but rejoins before the tuft.Giving it a strange dazzling appearance. Maybe one day they'll come apart, but for now she just has an extremely unique tail. This Mage is very shy about the fact she is a Gebayack mage, as many people tend to avoid her to avoid bad luck, or worse, getting accidently cursed. This Mage has no bad intent, however she is very clumsy, often accidently psychicly knocking things off shelves, or minorly cursing people on accident. Due to this she is very quiet and reserved and doesnt ineract with other's well. Perhaps moving to XXXXXX city will be a new start for her. She's heard great things about it's magical underground.
