This is in the middle of a huge nature preserve after it rained for almost 20 hours straight. Without 20 hours of rain, this scene would not exist.

Shot in 590nm on a full spectrum camera.
Edited in CS5 + Nik Software.
I believe the colors are really there, we just lack the physical structure to seem with our naked eyes.

The camera you used is it modified or is it a filter used. I have a canon t3i and I am wondering if you can use a r72 filter on it? By the way amazing pictures

It is a modified camera to shoot in "Full Spectrum." I then use a filter to focus in a specific range of the light spectrum.
You can pay someone to modify your camera to shoot in full spectrum or infrared.
Thanks

How much did it cost you if you do not mind me asking to modify the camera and what company did you use. I bought a 720 infrared lens filter and it shoots pretty good on the T3i with a macro lens against a light bulb I will post the image soon. I am new to doing this type of photography especially the infrared so any tips would be awesome.
