I've been obsessed with HnKnA for a very long time now and I've met some wonderful friends in my fanfiction forum. So this is created for the Elliot-loving LadyShadowDancer!HAPPY BIRTHDAY SHADES! ^^ I wanted to make this a wallpaper but i keep getting the size wrong :/ Hope you like it! XD

Hmmm... i only know like some kids magazine they put only 4-6 pages but those are pretty short stories, not sure how many shonen jump usually put but maybe we can take it as reference? :/

ahhh icic... hmmm... everyone's gonna be busy it's kinda difficult, i couldn't even meet up with you guys too.
Well it depends is you wanna straight away publish the whole oneshot or just ac ouple of pages and update it monthly so reader can anticipate for the next issue. 4-6 is concised story, not much character development but it brings the story straight to the point so it doesn't frustrate readers but yeah i agree it's still too short :/ I'll try to get my hand on the shonen jump in my office and take a look lol!

Well yeah haiz... and if the supporting people gradurate it's gonna be difficult to continue, but you've got to admit publishing a short strip of comic can help promote the club as well as stir interest within the members. But how long can we hold the interest is another thing -_-"'
and no lah, degree or not anyone can also do it lol! From observing and reading manga we all have the basic skill le XP

If you're going to internship then I'll prob make it down for meetings more then you unless you're saying your internship is in-house lol! I'll try though, hope you guys keep in contact too I get what you mean... once drawing becomes more of a work, no one will enjoy the meetings :/ It was a good and ambitious start for us, wanting to do the comic, I'm sure many wanted to work on an actual comic and see it published too... but perhaps if we go and aim small it would be more sustainable?
What about just doing 4-koma's for now? It's like how it got you, Jeanny, Thai and some others riled up in the first place. I still think creating characters for the faculty was a great idea. The rest could easily use them or we could go for a humour story about what we do here in the club. It's a single general theme and the story would be something we could all relate to so it's much easier. Plus humour is easier to capture the interest of the audience and faster to produce. It's just a suggestion though

And yeah what you say is true, and starting with 4komas (yep, can have more individually! ^^) should do the trick in building confidence and production too since it's simple and fast. But besides doing that, we need to find the type of publication you guys wanna make out of it so that, like you say, they won't draw for naught. Or probably compile it into a booklet for every CCA recruitment drive XD
Talking about the characters, then maybe not faculty members? O.o What about a general 4 character group, 2 guys 2 girls, and we'll standard/stereotype the personality so everyone can follow instead. Or it could be a smaller representation of the sections in the VAS Club, that way also easier to control.

Either that or most of them are in ADM and they're too busy to join lol! Plus Weiliang and you did a very good job teaching what ^^. I was learning alot too so there isn't much I can give unless you wanna try basic real figure drawing and simple photoshopping and comic drawing which thai and you also can do lol! XP
Inspiration... hmmm *racks brain* so that means actually our priority is to first improve our drawing skills right? Comic may have to come second? :/ Come to think of it, it was initialy, before this doujin started.

Hmmm yah that makes sense too, we can actually do more real pose drawing but manga style (like just draw the person sitting next to you or provide a projected picture of a model), that way also can train them on more poses then they normal would draw, as well as observe body proportion, then probably alternate week is free comic drawing session so they don't feel sian but also apply what they learn? I dunno how you guy wanna schedule it
