Description
This is Makayla's Sadness task for and 's regret, sorrow or grief prompt!This is the point where Makayla walks away from her brother, Craig, and their band, Nuklear Intoxikation at the battle of the bands festival. Craig is at his lowest point at this point in the story. He had made decisions for the band without consulting the other members, and his trolling of Maxx was going too far, losing sight of his own goals, causing his performance and the band as a whole to suffer.
After their disastrous set, which was only made worse with Maxx interfering and throwing a tantrum over Craig's parody song about him, the band has a falling out with both Kurt and Makayla fed up and walking away.
Makayla has reached her breaking point with Craig's selfishness, his Maxx trolling interfering with the band, and the way he treats her boyfriend, Brad, and tries to control her relationships and her life. She is saddened to have to walk away and is disappointed in Craig, but hopes this is the wake up call he needs to do better.

I mentioned this before, but this is well executed! The expressions here are perfect! Makayla looks so let down here.. 'I'm not mad, just disappointed.' Which seeing his sister disappointed seems to be worse for him than her actually getting mad? I feel like if she got mad, it meant she would still care, but here she looks just DONE.
You did a great job on the colouring and lighting here; it really sets the tone for the whole piece. I don't often see cool, sullen tones for your work and it's an interesting choice of colours here; really effective in this scenerio!

This is a turning point for Makayla and a wake-up call for Craig. It's a shame it took that to have him clue in but some people learn the hard way. Maxx has the disaster touch; everything he touches implodes and disintegrates. The worst part is Maxx is not someone you can walk away from because he keeps coming back! It's like a rash that won't go away or pests in your house. It's fitting since Maxx is a pain in the ass and brings rodents and bugs to houses with his filth.
Anyway, you did an excellent job on this! You did excellent portraying both Makayla's and Craig's sadness. The blue lighting and hues really enhance that effect, too.
Excellent composition! I love how these pieces really tell a lot about your story and characters!

Oh yes, as you know Craig is someone who learns things the hard way, but he does learn and grow, unlike Maxx. Hahah, yes, that perfectly sums up Maxx! xD Yes, this is sad for them both and a hard choice Makayla had to come to. Thank you so, so much!
