This picture really calls for careful study. At first it looks like a lovely family scene with Snape's mum trying to get him to eat something that's good for him but he doesn't like. But when you look closer, the menace on his dad's face as he walks into this tender scene gives me the chills. You just know that there's trouble ahead. Lovely drawing with interesting details--Eileen's smile, Severus' eyes, the curtain cape, clothespin on the sleeve and my favorite, the cat with the crab.
