Description This was drawn in 2007. It was my first drawing after a 10-15year gap. It was also the first the picture I attempted to colour digitally, can be seen here [link] It definately needed a recolour.

Its Straxus, there was never a toy of him, but he appeared in quite a few of the original Marvel comics (and even more so in the UK comics) and he's been in couple of IDW comics but renamed Darkmount, which was the name of Straxus's fortess in the original series.

Yeah I know. There's probably a few others missing too (i.e, Thunderwing, Bludgeon, Soundwave, Starscream, etc). I never fancied Ratbat in the leader role anyway. I prefer him as just one of Soundwave's spy cassettes like in the cartoons.

Physically he's certainly not leadership material, but he's still an interesting character. It was funny to see the Cons run by a bureaucrat!

I did think his character was interesting in that way, but still not leadership material. Especially when his main rival was Scorponok. I thought his role in War Within sort of helps explains how he's in the position he's in, in the the Marvel universe.
