Overhead view of an Imperial TIE Droid Fighter from the Star Wars Dark Empire comic book series.I only lightly inked it as I thought I'll do all the shading when I colour it in Photoshop and see how it comes out.

Those were a pain in the neck to fight without seeker missiles. Had a great love for the V-wing with its great power with great cost. Rapid fire with burn outs, and boosters with wicked slow down.

I take it you're referring to Rogue Squadron, classic game. I vaguely remember the V-wing (its been so long since I played it). I think I used to like the E-wing.

Yup, Rogue Squadron on the N64. We still have the N64 running for Mario Cart and a couple other games.

It would be good if the do have them but from what I've seen of the trailers, I don't think so. I'm going to watch it tomorrow, so I should know soon enough.

Well, without giving too much of the plot away, I thought its a good film, definitely worth a watch. Being a big fan of the Thrawn trilogy, Dark Horse's Legacy series, as well as quite a few of the other book and comics that have been around, I was quite annoyed that Disney were going to completely disregard that well planned timeline, I was a bit apprehensive about it. Basically they've tried to recreate the same, tried and tested formula they used in the original films, Episode 4 in particular (you'll see what I mean when you watch it). For me, for the most part, its worked. I'll probably do some Force Awakens related art at some point.

I had that game back in the day and I've had the Rogue Squadron games on the cube. I think they were the best Star Wars games made and they should make one for the modern consoles. I don't remember seeing any droid fighters in them though.

I can't remember as it was so long ago. I don't think I got to the final mission anyway. I finished Rogue Leader and Rebel Strike on the Game Cube though.

I remember that game as well. But unfortunely Factor 5 the guys who made the rogue squadron games are dead. I was looking forward for the Wii rogue squadron games

Oh no, thats a shame. The Battlefront series on the PS2 & Force Unleashed on the WII were OK, but no where near the same quality as Rogue Squadron.

I believe the upcoming Battlefront III is going to be a long wait due some trouble during development. I wise knew whats going on at the moment.

Hopefully they improve it a fair bit. I'd still rather see another Rogue Squadron though.
